At Biggio Dental Care, as part of our commitment to your total health, we offer a personalized approach to treating sleep apnea that differs from intrusive medical alternatives such as the CPAP device (continuous positive airway pressure) and surgery.
Often, minor snoring problems that lead to sleep apnea can be treated using a removable dental appliance (called a mouthpiece or oral appliance) that is worn at night to stabilize the tongue and reposition the jaw. Soon after using a mouthpiece, most of our patients experienced immediate relief from sleep apnea symptoms and side effects and began feeling well rested.
