How Six Month Smiles Works
Your Six Month Smiles treatment begins with a consultation with Dr. Biggio. He will analyze your bite and discuss your dental goals with you. Once Six Month Smiles has been determined to be the best tooth-straightening system for you, Dr. Biggio will:
- Make an impression of your teeth, which the Six Month Smile laboratory will use to determine where the clear brackets and tooth-colored wires will go
- Fit you with the brackets and wires using the Six Month Smiles custom trays created at the laboratory
- See you every four weeks for any needed adjustments
Aftercare
After your clear braces have been removed, as with any orthodontic treatment, you will need to wear a removable retainer at night or a permanent retainer on the back of your teeth for a period of time. This will ensure that your teeth stay in their new position.
